Great-horned Owl
  Bubo virginianus

* The only animal that regularly eats skunks.

* Prefers open woodlands and agricultural area. Also found in suburban and urban areas. Is comfortable even in the city.

* Diet includes mostly small mammals and rabbits, but reptiles, geese, other birds, are also on the menu.

* Has low sonorous call. Male and female often call back and forth in duets.
